Bio
Sal is normal 16 year old from South Jersey…a sophomore in high school, involved with music, sports, and likes all the things that normal teenagers like.
Every year since 2002, Sal with the help of Family, Friends and Sponsors, continues his quest that he started at the age of seven, to bring the “healing magic of joy” each Halloween to every child who cannot be apart of night’s festivities. His quest now reaches five states; New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Delaware, New York & Tennessee and is growing.
When he is not heading up Healing Hearts on Halloween, you will find him in the School Band, School Marching Band, and in his own Rock Band. He is a good student who loves math and hanging out with his friends.
He has made several Radio and TV appearances over the years, NJ101, WPVI, CN8, NBC and a couple of years ago he was on the Tony Danza Show all to promote his sense of “Paying it Forward”. Besides Healing Hearts on Halloween, he is involved with Toys for Tots. But through all of this and all the “fame” Sal has received for his good works, he is the first to tell you that it is not about him…it is about bringing smiles to kids faces and lifting their spirits and hopefully inspiring others to give back a little to those in need. Aside from that, he is a typical teenage kid with a gentle soul and a heart of gold.
